Our story

A corner of Italy in the old town

Bacchus has kept the same address for more than thirty years, between the Grand Ducal Palace and the City History Museum. The wood-fired oven has never moved, the dough is made fresh every morning, and the owner, Sardinian by birth, still greets most tables himself. People stay loyal to this place: many of our regulars have been coming for decades.

Twenty-eight pizzas on the menu, from a three-ingredient Marinara to the house Bacchus with buffalo mozzarella. Dough made daily, baked over wood. Children's price across the range.

Fresh pasta and fish

Lasagne, cannelloni, tortellini and tagliolini made in house. Alongside them, a fish list you rarely find in a pizzeria: sole, monkfish, swordfish, scampi, king prawns, lobster to order.
